I haven’t written a full poem in a while, but I needed a way to process the infinite number of feelings I’m experiencing. All I know is that there are systems that keep us from looking at the source of our grief and instead convince us to point at each other in fear. They convince us to hate and tell us lies that some desperately need to believe. I don’t have many answers, but I do have words that I hope hold some meaning for you.
